The Adoremat customer for the Home is generally a house proud person who values quality. Hundreds of colours are able to be printed on the mats which really gets customer's creatively excited! They love being able to match back and colour co-ordinate to their decor or favourite colour.
With the Adoremat mats being washable in the washing machine the mats not only look great but are really functional as the dust and dirt can eradicated from the mat with a wash. This in turn makes the mat more functional.
A number of customers come to us from Instagram or by searching for images of doormats and seeing something they can relate to. Our main product we sell like this is our Wreath Doormat where the wreath surrounds an Initial of the Surname.
We also get the creative customer, who has a picture of a property or boat name and wants a doormat to match. These are often given as gifts, as the giver doesn't have the artwork file, but our Graphic Designer can create a printable file for an extra $30 surcharge. We also pass on the file so the customer can have it for other creative uses.
If the customer has an idea of what they are after they can use our App where we have put a variety of templates that are easy to modify just by changing text and colours.

Gill Hardman from GJ Gardner Bass Coast was already ahead of the game when she approached Adoremat to enquire about customising doormats as Settlement Gifts. She knew what she was after. Their professionalism and forward thinking isn't surprising when you look at their 74 '5 Star' Google Reviews!
With the quality standard of GJ Gardner Homes, Gill decided to invest in a larger size doormat to suit the homes impressive entrances and larger doors, at 60x100cm. (A standard size is 60x85cm)
The mats sit pride of place at the door to the new homes and are a daily reminder of the builders who built their home.
Adoremat also pops the "Gifted By" message and GJ Gardner Logo on the reverse Care Instructions label, as a reminder who gifted the mat.
Gill decided on her final design after working with our designer on a few concepts. She wanted it to be classic and versatile to suit the varied styles of her clientele.

Whether for comfort or cleanliness, we all have our reasons for either shedding their shoes at the door or leaving them on.
When it comes to dropping by the home of a distant family member, new friend, or co-worker, though, we need to be aware of shoe etiquette, as many are offended if you fail to remove footwear after entering.
Why do some keep their shoes on indoors?
There are a variety of justifications people have for keeping their shoes on whilst in the house. Some are self-conscious about being seen barefoot, whilst others feel the soles of their shoes are more hygienic than the sweaty underside of their foot.
Most important, they may have a condition which mandates they wear footwear whenever possible. Those in the midst of a painful bout of plantar fasciitis often prefer to wear shoes with supportive soles, and diabetics with peripheral neuropathy are required by doctors to have them, as unfelt bruises and cuts can quickly become gangrenous.
Shoes can introduce more than just dirt to your home
Even so, those who recoil at the thought of someone wearing footwear inside their home have legitimate reasons for taking this stance.
Keeping floors clean can be a herculean task, as the great outdoors is full of dirt, mud, water, and other debris. When brought indoors consistently by shoe wearers, it can be incredibly difficult to keep a house tidy.
Worse yet, recent studies suggest shoes bring more than just dirt and gravel into the home – according to researchers at the University of Houston, 40% of shoe soles examined carried the C.diff bacterium, a strain which resists many antibiotics.
University of Arizona scientists did similar research, finding over nine different strains on the shoes they studied. Of them, two stuck out – E.coli (the 0157:H7 variant is responsible for causing severe gastrointestinal illnesses) and Klebsiella pneumoniae, which can cause a deadly form of pneumonia.
Freaked out by this revelation? If taking shoes off in your home is not practical, minimise their impact by acquiring a doormat from https://adoremat.com.au/. Not only will you have a place to sweep the dirt and germs off your feet, but it will also spruce up the appearance of your front door.
Err on the side of caution with hosts
Whether you are attending a party thrown by a friend or a family gathering hosted by an in-law, nobody wants to be ‘that guest’.
If you are unaware of their footwear policy, it’s best to play things conservatively by taking your shoes off at the door. This way, you’ll avoid unintended offence – if they permit footwear indoors, they’ll intercede whilst you are in the act of removing your shoes.
Have one of the medical conditions mentioned earlier in the article? Call ahead and explain the situation – this way, they won’t be taken aback as you stroll inside with trainers still firmly affixed to your feet.
Even if you are permitted to keep shoes on, still give your soles a good scrubbing on their doormat, as this will remove any bits of debris you picked up on the way to their house.
]]>Never, probably. The humble door mat is a part of the house that is taken for granted. Normally, we ignore it because they are so boring, bland and easy to ignore.
At Adoremat, we make custom-made door mats that shout out to be noticed. We think a door mat is for more than just wiping your feet.
Here are a few reasons why:
Seriously, it may be something that you normally just wipe your feet on but it plays so many roles beyond that.
So next time you walk in the front door, look down and appreciate all the good things you mat is doing; some of them sensible and others a little bit of fun.
LOOK AFTER YOUR FLOORS
When people come to your office or home, they do not always take off their shoes. A custom door mat can help look after your floors and entry way by getting rid of dirt and muck even before they get over the threshold. Mats also keep the moisture out when it rains so you do not have to go around after cleaning up dirty footprint.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LOOK
Having a custom-made door mat at your front doors is a great way to showcase your personal style and flair. Adoremat can be turned into any design or look you want – your child’s art work, a pattern you love, a fav saying or a picture of your family. All you are limited by is your imagination.
WELCOME
They say first impressions count. You want people to feel welcome when they come over to your house. We’re not saying that a mat is going to do all the work but when someone walks up to your front door and the first thing they see is a custom-made door mat featuring your fav saying or a big bright happy picture, they are going to start the visit with warm fuzzies.
SAFETY
Yes, we live in an age of litigation. The last thing you want is a visitor to your office slipping and hurting themselves. An custom made entry mat can prevent slips and falls
